THE CRAFTY WENCH: I have been selling on the Internet since 1999.
If you are a prior customer, you may notice that my store is
much smaller than when you last visited. My father died in
November 2007, and as an only child I am now solely responsible for my
91-year old mother who has Alzheimer's and is paralyzed from a stroke.
I had no choice but to scale back my business due to the
demands on my time. I always seemed to have plenty of
competition for my corn bags and aprons, so you should have no problem
finding another great crafter out there for those products. I
truly enjoy my bonnets, so chose to make these the emphasis of my
business.
PAYMENTS:
I accept Visa and Mastercard (what else does PayPal take?) through
PayPal. Your credit card statement will reflect a charge from
CRAFTYWENCH@COMCAST.NET
SHIPPING:
I do ship to most countries. Please email me for details and rates for
your locale.
PLEASE E-mail me at
craftywench@comcast.net if you need your order by a certain date or
have questions. Most items ship 36 hours after your order is processed
- allow appropriate time for delivery.
Customer is
responsible for all shipping costs. Shipping for multiple items will be
adjusted on your confirmed invoice. Shipping charges start at ~$5 to
~$6 for most items, and depend on the method you choose, along with
your location. You’ll be able to see exact charges before you finalize
your order.
- GROUND can mean UPS Ground or USPS First
Class or Parcel Post, depending on weight of your order.
- PRIORITY can mean USPS Priority or First
Class, depending on weight of your order. Choosing Priority shipping
also means your order will be processed and shipped ahead of GROUND
orders.
- THREE DAY, TWO DAY and OVERNIGHT items
receive the highest priority in processing and are generally shipped
within 24 hours of order. Please contact me to confirm same day
shipping should that be necessary. In the event of a delivery failure
by your selected carrier for 2 day or overnight shipping, I will refund
shipping charges, minus $12 for the rush handling and getting your
package to the carrier. I reserve the right to modify your choice of
shipping carriers if it will hasten delivery of your item.
INSURANCE:
Please let me know if you would like insurance on your package.

ABOUT
PHONE CALLS: The Crafty Wench is an Internet only mail
order business, and I am not set up to take orders by phone. I do not
print a catalog, and I do not have a storefront. All of the above adds
overhead to my business, and my goal is to offer you a great product at
an even better price. In order to hold down costs, I've automated the
ordering process as much as possible.
If you have product
questions, please email me using the form located to the right. I check
my email many times per day and promise I'll respond quickly. Most
issues are easily resolved through email. Because it is my desire to
continue to keep costs down by avoiding the necessity of hiring staff
to answer the phone, I encourage customers to email me.
PRIVACY
POLICY: Vital information, e-mail addresses and credit
card numbers are the sole property of YOU, my customer, and I will NOT
share them with anyone.
RETURN
POLICY: Your satisfaction is guaranteed -- all items are
as described or better.
Please contact me if
you have any problem with your purchase. If you do not receive a reply
within 24 hours, please contact me again. There is always the
possibility I did not receive your message.
If you wish to return
your item for a refund, you MUST contact me first. Items returned
without prior approval & return instructions will be treated as
a gift from you to me. I thank you in advance if you want to handle it
this way. :)
I try to make sure all
items are described completely and accurately. In the unlikely event
that I make an error (I am only human, you know), I will refund the
purchase price (excluding shipping/insurance) if the item is returned
in the same condition as it was shipped to you, and with our
tag/label/mark intact. Again, you MUST contact me by email first.
You must contact me
within five (5) days of receipt of the shipment. If the return is made
for any reason other than an error we have made, we refund your
original price (not original shipping/insurance) and you are
responsible for return shipping/insurance. The item must be returned to
us (postmarked) within five (5) days of the date you contact us.
Defective items will
be replaced - please contact me as soon as possible.
